The instruments used for the harmony were synth lead sounds. The melody technique was an arch, rising type melody. The first lead sound was an Anthemic Lead used in Alchemy. The second lead synth was produced in ES2. These synth leads were used to give the melody more strength and texture. These sounds were used to add a pop sound to the beat.
In this piece, audio vocals are recorded with autotune. The vocals were recorded to add harmony, texture, and rhythm. The vocals also were recorded to bring out an anthem sound to the piece to make it stand out. Originally, synthesized sounds were produced using ESP. One sound produced was a Snare on track 19 and another sound was a Hi-Hat on track 24.
There were sample vocals put into a quick sampler and sliced up. The sounds loaded were Zoe Nevermore Verse 3 and Zoe Nevermore Verse 2. The track numbers for the quick sampler are 39 and 40. The quick sampler has a gate on and is in transient mode. The sliced positions for track 39 are D2 to F2 and F#2 to G2. The sliced positions for track 40 are D2 to D#2 and E2 to F2.
Finally, I used dynamic effects and time-based effects. The dynamic effects I used were a noise gate and a compressor. I used a noise gate on a snare on track 19 and I used compression for the kick on track 1, on the quick sampler on tracks 39-40, and vocals on tracks 41-42. For the time-based effects, I used reverb on two claps on tracks 29 and 30. I used stereo delay on vocals on tracks (41-48). I used compression to give the piece more punch and I used reverb and stereo delay to make the piece sound bigger and stronger.
